Information We Collect

We don’t require you to register or submit personal details to use Hozuna. Like most websites, our hosting and network provider automatically process basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) to serve pages and protect the site from abuse. We don’t use this to identify you personally.

Cookies

We use a single functional cookie to remember that you’ve seen our cookie notice, so it doesn’t reappear on every visit. It stores no personal information and expires after about one month.

Our network provider, Cloudflare, may also set essential cookies needed for security and performance. We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand which pages people find useful, and privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics that sets no cookies at all. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; the site will still work.

Advertising

Hozuna shows ads served by Google AdSense to help cover the cost of running the site. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to Hozuna or other websites. We don’t provide them with any personal information — we don’t have any to give.

You can turn off personalised advertising at Google My Ad Center, and opt out of other third-party ad vendors at aboutads.info. Turning personalisation off doesn’t remove ads — it just makes them less relevant.

Third-Party Services & Links

Hozuna is delivered through Cloudflare (content delivery and security), and uses Google services for advertising (AdSense) and analytics (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager). To build our anime pages we query public data sources such as AniList from our own servers — we do not share any information about you with them.

Our “where to watch” pages link out to streaming platforms and other third-party sites. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies. We aren’t responsible for the content or practices of external sites.

Children’s Privacy

Hozuna is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
